Serial Baby Killer Released Into California Women's Prison General Population
From REDUXX (USA)
By Anna Slatz
Feb 28, 2022
A man who murdered his infant children and was sentenced to death has now been turned loose into general population at a California women's prison after beginning to identify as transgender just a few years ago.
Jason Hann was arrested after the remains of his 10-week-old daughter, Montana, were discovered in Arkansas. The little girl's body was found in an advanced state of decomposition and stuffed in a tupperware container onboard an RV trailer once owned by Hann after the vehicle had been repossessed and sent to auction. The buyer of the RV discovered the body in February of 2002, and called police.
Montana's corpse had been in the plastic tub for approximately one year before she was found, and it was determined that the girl had died of a fractured skull.
Police were quickly able to connect the trailer to Hann, and he and his girlfriend, Krissy Werntz, were found and arrested at a motel in Oregon in April of that same year.
During the multi-state investigation into Montana's death, law enforcement discovered a second child's body in an Arizona storage locker rented by Hann, the remains belonging to his 6-week-old son who he had murdered by head trauma in 1999.
In both cases, Hann had apparently kept and travelled with the bodies before finally storing them. …
In 2019, Hann began to identify as a woman named Jessica, and demanded the state provide him the necessary "gender affirming" accessories such as hormones, bras, makeup, and hair rollers while he was incarcerated in San Quentin. He also requested a legal name change, sex reassignment surgery, and a transfer to a women's facility. … read full article (and SUPPORT REDUXX!)
A mother's defiance
They keep taking this video down. No wonder
From The Glinner Update (UK)

Here’s the latest attempt to upload the testimony of the mother of one of Lia Thomass’s teammates. It’s genuinely upsetting.
It has been uploaded several times now, and it keeps getting taken down, so I’ve recorded the audio here along with a transcription, which I’ve edited for clarity below. Please do listen to the audio.
Thank you for inviting me to speak about the effects of Lia Thomas and women's swimming. I'm grateful for the chance to share how this experience unfolded and impacted our family. I would like to make clear that I'm anonymous at the request of my daughter and I am honouring that request to protect my relationship with her so before I begin, I have to say how much I missed the world I thought I was living in just a few short months ago, but then I'm glad to not be living obliviously any longer.
Lia caught my attention at the start of the swim season as I was glancing through the early season meet results. Having been a swim parent at regional, national and international competitions for the past decade and a half. I'm pretty familiar with the names of the top swimmers. A 146 200 free in a practice suit at this time of the year was eye-popping for anyone, an obvious future NCAA qualifier, likely an NCAA score. It didn't take much digging to figure out that Lia Thomas was Will Thomas, a man who swam on the men's team at Penn for three years, but was now swimming with the women. I remember being stunned that this was happening and even more stunned that it had gone unreported and on whispered among the talkative swimming community. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to The Glinner Update!)
Welcome

Hello! Welcome to my substack. If you’re reading this, you’re presumably wondering what this newsletter is all about. Bear with me - first I want to take a moment to tell you what, emphatically, it will not be about.
For the past few years, as some of you probably know, I’ve been a vocal participant in what is, quite frankly, one of the stupidest public discussions out there. The matter at issue is whether inner feelings of gender identity - that is, whether you feel “inside” like a man, woman, or neither, irrespective of the actual facts of the matter - should be an official determinant of how you are treated in every social context: from sport, to public services, to education, to the bedroom, and beyond.
No, I still can’t believe it either.
My antagonists in this dispute are nearly all on the so-called progressive Left, a tribe to which I used to assume I too belonged. They include prominent activists, politicians, psychologists, medics, journalists, lawyers, teachers, feminist organisations, and human rights NGOs. They also include the students and colleagues who eventually harassed me out of my job as a Philosophy Professor at a British University in October last year. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to Kathleen Stock!)
Parents ‘concerned’ about 18-year-old trans woman in boarding house with teenage girls
The children’s minister said he ‘wouldn’t be overly happy’ with the situation
From The Evening Standard (UK)
By Anna Davis (@_annadavis)
March 1, 2022
Parents of teenage girls at a boarding school are worried that an 18-year-old transwoman is sharing the same boarding house as their daughters, MPs heard on Tuesday.
Caroline Johnson, MP for Sleaford and North Hykeham, said she has been contacted by parents in the past week who are “concerned” about the situation at the independent school, which was not named.
Speaking at the education select committee, Will Quince, Minister for Children and Families said that as a father of two daughters he also “probably wouldn’t be overly happy with the situation” and described the issue as “a minefield.”
He said schools need to use their common sense, and that the duty to protect and safeguard children should overwrite anything else. … read full article
Birds of a Feather...'Cognitively Distort' Together
Unpicking the cognitive distortions in the conversation between Jolyon Maugham and Katy Montgomerie
From TRANSparency (UK)
By James Esses

Katy Montgomerie is an internet dickhead. Those are her words, not mine. They were uttered in her introduction to the recently livestreamed conversation with the Director of the Good Law Project, Jolyon Maugham.
Both individuals have become well known over recent years for their activism on gender ideology and trans rights - Katy from a social media angle and Jolyon from a legal perspective.
I decided that I would listen to their dialogue. Having had encounters with both online, I felt it was only right to hear them out and see what, if anything, I could learn from them.
Given that Katy is a fervent supporter of trans rights and we are always told by such supporters that we should #BeKind, I expected Katy to be radiating nothing but positivity, empathy and understanding. With Jolyon being a QC and legal expert, I imagined he would support the rule of law, use nothing but the clearest of logic and show the utmost respect for the legal institutions within which he practises.
On both counts, I was proven wrong. In hindsight, this should hardly have come as a surprise given the term “internet dickhead” was used within the first few seconds of the nearly 90-minute interview. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to TRANSparency!)
Sex, Gender and the Charter
How gender ideology subverts language and law
From justdad7’s Newsletter (Canada)
By justdad7
March 1, 2022
Transgender activists in Canada who are campaigning to replace rights based on sex with rights based on gender identity face a major obstacle: sex based rights are explicitly protected in two places in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Section 15 provides:
Equality before and under law and equal protection and benefit of law
15 (1) Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.
(2) Subsection (1) does not preclude any law, program or activity that has as its object the amelioration of conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups including those that are disadvantaged because of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.
Sex is one of the enumerated protected categories and there is no reference to gender identity. The importance of sex as a protected category is reinforced by Section 28 which reads:
28 Notwithstanding anything in this Charter, the rights and freedoms referred to in it are guaranteed equally to male and female persons.
The French version reads “les deux sexes” (two sexes), which is exactly the number of sexes people believed to exist in 1982 when the Charter was drafted.
A recent letter from LEAF and the Morgane Oger Foundation on transgender prison policy attempts to evade this problem by arguing that Bill C-16 has effectively replaced sex with gender identity. They refer to “the mistaken view that one’s biology or anatomy at birth is determinative of whether that person is a man or a woman.”
The problem with this line of argument is that the view that male and female are biologically determined is one that was almost universally accepted when the Charter was adopted. Changing the definition of sex to refer to something else is, in effect, an amendment to the Charter. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to justdad7’s Newsletter!)
“They” say desistance is rare. But, is it really?
From Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans (PITT) (USA)
March 1, 2022
How many teens fall into the current internet rabbit hole that is the transgender glitter universe, claim a trans ID and then later decide it is not for them? We are told that being trans is something you are and not something you do. Well, in our experience that just is not true.
Our child told us one day that he felt like he was born in the wrong body and that he had a female brain. He spoke of feeling this way for the last three years and knowing the next steps to take. His plan included a change in wardrobe, consulting with medical professionals and adopting a new name and pronouns. What followed was an obsession with himself, his feelings and all things “trans”. A hoodie became his armor and sitting at lunch one day, I was heartbroken to see small cuts running up and down his arm. We were confused, hurting for our child and determined to find him the help that he needed and had asked for. We quickly circled the wagons and as a family we started our search.
At first I found parent support groups where I was told to hurry up and get him onto puberty blockers before he got too tall. This was my first experience with the affirmation model.
Next I made phone calls to find a counselor and after a 5 min conversation I was asked about preferred names and pronouns. It was then suggested that we go ahead and use them right away in order to prevent suicide. This was after 5 minutes, and no contact with our son.
It was all so overwhelming and confusing. None of the advice felt right. It was like stepping into a foreign country that used a different language and we certainly were not natives. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to PITT!)
Viewers of online abuse at high risk of contacting children directly, study finds
Darknet survey finds 42% sought contact after watching sexual abuse online, with escalating porn habits driving users to illegal material
From The Guardian (UK)
By Harriet Grant
March 1, 2022
The largest ever survey on the thoughts and behaviours of people who watch child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online has found significant evidence that those who watch illegal material are at high risk of going on to contact or abuse a child directly.
Nearly half (42%) of respondents to the survey, the first of its kind, said they had sought direct contact with children through online platforms after viewing CSAM, and 58% reported feeling afraid that viewing CSAM might lead to them committing abuse in person.
The report, published in the Stanford Internet Observatory’s Journal of Online Trust and Safety, is the result of months of groundbreaking research by Finnish human rights group Protect Children.
Researchers placed surveys on the darknet, tagged with code words used by people searching for child sexual abuse material. About 15,000 people responded and researchers carried out detailed studies on 1,500 who replied in full to the survey.
Tegan Insoll, specialist researcher at Protect Children, told the Guardian: “This is really significant. We now have a peer-reviewed study to prove that watching [CSAM] can increase the risk of contact.” … read full article
Texas governor sued by ACLU over directive to investigate parents for transgender care
The lawsuit calls the governor's order 'lawless and dangerous.'
From ABC News (USA)
By Kiara Alfonseca
March 1, 2022
The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit against the Texas Department for Family and Protective Services and Governor Greg Abbott for implementing a directive to investigate parents that provide gender-affirming care to transgender children.
In a Feb. 22 letter, Abbott ordered the DFPS to investigate gender-affirming care among youths in the state following an official declaration from state Attorney General Ken Paxton who also called it "child abuse."
The DFPS promptly announced that it would comply with Paxton and Abbott's directive. The department told ABC affiliate KVUE there were no investigations into such alleged "child abuse" before Abbott's directive.
DFPS Commissioner Jaime Masters is also listed as a defendant in the complaint.
Representatives for DFPS, Masters and Abbott did not immediately respond to ABC News' requests for comment.
The lawsuit, led by the ACLU and Lambda Legal, calls the move "lawless and dangerous." … read full article
