Senator Responsible for Bill Lowering Penalties for Child Sexual Abuse Calls for Drag Queens to be Included in K-12 Curriculum
From REDUXX (USA)
By Shay Woulahan
June 7, 2022
A politician in California has called for an introduction to Drag Queens to be taught to K-12 school students in his state as part of their basic education.
On June 7, Scott Wiener, a member of the California State Senate, sent social media into a firestorm after tweeting that “Drag Queen 101” should be part of the K-12 curriculum and that an attendance to Drag Queen Story time would “meet the requirements.” …
Controversially, Wiener is responsible for Senate Bill 145, which ended the automatic sex offender registration of adults convicted of having oral or anal sex with children aged 14-18. …
Wiener also authorized the infamous Senate Bill 132 which allows incarcerated transgender, non-binary and intersex people to be housed and searched in a manner consistent with their self declared “gender identity.” … read full article
I was hounded out of school for ‘transphobia’
There is no forgiveness for those who question dogma
From UnHerd (UK)
By JULIE BINDEL
June 7, 2022
The story of a sixth-former being hounded out of her private girls’ school for alleged “transphobia” was reported last month, but might not have been so widely noticed had JK Rowling not tweeted her disgust. It gained yet more attention when Owen Jones also went on Twitter: “This ‘story’ — claiming 60 girls drove a girl out of school for ‘questioning trans ideology’ — doesn’t include their side of the story or even name the school. I want to speak anonymously to those girls for their story, so please RT!”
Kate, the pupil in question (whose name we have changed), contacted me on social media. She had seen my condemnation of Jones’s attempts to, in my view, discredit the story and wanted to tell it in her own words. In any case Jones was wrong: her school couldn’t be named for legal reasons — and the children couldn’t be identified. So we meet in central London. She seems wise beyond her 19 years and remarkably articulate: she gives the impression she reads Dostoevsky and Socrates for fun. … read full article
Can Students Speak Freely on Campus?
New surveys from the Knight Foundation and Heterodox Academy are revealing.
From Psychology Today (USA)
By Pamela B. Paresky Ph.D.
June 6, 2022
KEY POINTS
A recent Knight Foundation survey indicates that high school students are not tremendously supportive of free speech.
A recent Heterodox Academy survey indicates that college students are not experiencing open discourse about controversial topics.
College students are self-censoring out of fear of negative ramifications.
New and existing resources are available for those looking to foster open discourse and civil disagreement.
Two recent surveys, by the Knight Foundation and Heterodox Academy. spotlight the fragile state of free speech in America. They indicate that high school students think they support free speech more than they actually do, and on average, college is not an experience of open discourse and civil disagreement.
The Knight Foundation survey highlights how tenuous high schoolers' support for freedom of speech really is. Only 57% say they strongly agree that people should be allowed to express unpopular opinions. Another 32% say they “mildly” agree. And even this lukewarm support for free speech is more theoretical than evident. In practical terms, when unpopular opinions are considered “offensive,” only 40% of high school students continue to agree at all that people should be allowed to express them in public, and the majority of those only mildly agree. … read full article
Americans Want Government to Stop Pushing Gender Ideology in Schools, New Poll Reveals
From The Daily Citizen (USA)
By Bruce Hausknecht
Jun 7, 2022
A new poll released this week shows that nearly two-thirds of Americans (63%) oppose changes by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) to the definition of “sex” under Title IX, the 1972 federal law that opened up equal educational opportunities for women, to now also cover transgenderism and homosexuality.
The YouGov poll, undertaken on behalf of SAVE, an organization whose mission is “to assure that every college student and faculty member across America is afforded their constitutional protections of fairness and due process” and to “assure that the federal Title IX law is applied consistently and fairly to all students, both male and female,” reveals strongly negative feelings toward the administration’s effort to redefine “sex.” … read full article

Matt Walsh’s What is a Woman? exposes the delusions of the trans lobby.
From Spiked (UK)
By JO BARTOSCH
June 7, 2022
‘Does a chicken have a gender identity? Does a chicken cry? Does a chicken commit suicide?’, coos Michelle Forcier, a consultant paediatrician at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Rhode Island. These strange questions are not part of some surrealist theatrical performance – they are responses to conservative commentator Matt Walsh, in his new documentary, What is a Woman?.
In the film, Walsh travels the world asking a range of people, from leaders in the field of transgender medicine to members of the Maasai tribe in Kenya, to define the word ‘woman’. Tellingly, it is the Western gender experts who are unable to give a straight answer. … read full article
French Radical Feminist Erased From Film About Movement She Founded
A documentary aired at Cannes about an anti-femicide movement started by Marguerite Stern refused to acknowledge the campaign's founder.
From 4W (USA)
By Sasha White
June 7, 2022
Marguerite Stern, a French radical feminist, has been written out of her own story due to her stance on trans issues. A recent documentary shown at Cannes Film Festival is all about the movement Stern founded — but one little detail seems to be missing. The filmmakers have omitted the founder from the narrative, Stern writes in The Critic.
The film, by Marie Perennès and Simon Depardon, is about a group of women “armed with white sheets and black paint” who plaster feminist slogans protesting femicide by night. The feminist collages were started by Stern in Paris in 2019, and the movement has since grown internationally. As trans ideology took over Stern’s network of activists, the messaging shifted and the creator behind it all became maligned and hated. … read full article
Women can’t consent to their own murder and abuse
Today’s new law against non-fatal strangulation sends a message that violence against women is a crime, not a kink
From The Critic (UK)
By Tom Farr
June 7, 2022
Today, non-fatal strangulation (NFS) will become a defined and separate offence under the newly-inserted (by the Domestic Abuse Act 2021) s75A Serious Crime Act 2015. This new piece of legislation — a result of tireless campaigning by organisations such as the Centre for Women’s Justice, and We Can’t Consent to This — constitutes a tremendous step forward in combatting male sexual violence against women and girls.
First and foremost, by creating a new offence that explicitly names and defines the sexually violent act in question, this will hopefully see a shift away from NFS being charged and prosecuted as “just” assault. What this means in practice is that a longer custodial sentence is available to judges who hear the trial “on indictment” (i.e. in Crown Court as opposed to Magistrates’): up to five years in Crown Court compared to the hard limit of 12 months available in the Magistrates’ Court. … read full article
Sir Keir Starmer says the 'vast majority' of women do not have penises but suggests there is a 'small minority' who do
Labour leader Keir Starmer said 'vast majority' of women do not have penises
But seemed to suggest some do if they are not born in identified gender
He has been under fire previously for dodging the trans questions in interviews
And it puts him at odds with his former shadow chancellor Anneliese Dodds
Labour Party chair said she did not share belief women can be born with penises
From The Daily Mail (UK)
By CHARLOTTE MCLAUGHLIN
June 7, 2022
Sir Keir Starmer appeared to suggest that a 'small minority' of women do have penises as the Labour party continued to disagree over transgender issues.
The Labour leader, who has repeatedly been accused of dodging questions on the topic, has now told LBC that the 'vast majority' of women do not have penises.
He has been under fire previously for avoiding the issue in interviews, saying he did not think 'discussing' gender issues 'helps anyone in the long-run'. … read full article

(NEXSTAR) — A drag show at a Dallas-area gay bar over the weekend is causing a stir and discussion over whether or not kids should be around drag events – it’s the latest in a storied battle.
Viral videos circulated on Monday appear to show a few children with adult guardians at a club while a drag queen danced to an Ariana Grande song. Doctor plans to transplant womb into 'transgender woman' to enhance feelings of femininity
"Every transgender woman wants to be as female as possible. And that includes being a mother. The way towards this is with a uterine transplant," New Dehli's Dr. Narendra Kaushik explained.
From The Post Millennial (USA)
By Libby Emmons
June 7, 2022
A doctor is planning to perform a womb transplant into a biological male in an attempt to enable that transgender-identified male to carry a child.
The surgeon, Dr. Narendra Kaushik of New Delhi, intends to use the donated womb of a woman who is either living or dead, reported the Mirror. Kaushik operates out of Olmec, which is touted as "the premiere transgender surgery institute" and was certified by the International Board of Medicine and Surgery in Oldsmar, Florida.
Kaushik defended the plans, saying that "Every transgender woman wants to be as female as possible. And that includes being a mother. The way towards this is with a uterine transplant," which Kaushik described as "the same as a kidney or any other transplant." … read full article
Accusations of transphobia are pure misdirection
Barrister Robin Moira White has falsely accused the AEA of “transphobia” for defending women’s rights
From The Critic (UK)
By Ann Sinnott
June 7, 2022
Barrister Robin Moira White of Old Square Chambers is a masterful illusionist, as can be seen in this interview. Illusion relies on diverting attention to what the magician wants you to see, and away from what else could be seen. A closer look below, but first the aspersion cast by White on me and my organisation AEA (Authentic Equity Alliance).
White said that I am an “anti-trans-campaigner” in an “anti-trans movement”. Neither I nor AEA are anti-trans. While AEA’s founding aim is to promote the interests of women and girls, our consultancy and training is based on the law and thereby impartial. The 2010 Equality Act (EA2010) single-sex exception permits exclusion of transwomen from women’s services, provided it is a proportionate means to achieve a legitimate aim. … read full article
Pride
From Kathleen Stock (UK)
By Kathleen Stock
June 7, 2022
It’s June. It’s the beginning of Pride Month: the Holy Week of the LGBT+ calendar, except that even the Roman Catholic church didn’t have the vision to ask for a whole month. All over the land, flags have been raised, twitter handles bedecked with rainbows, and boxes of pronoun badges freshly cracked open. As I write, HR managers are gearing up for a jam-packed month of propagandising about whatever cash cow the LGBTQ+ protection racket currently has its eye on (“asexuality awareness”, for instance; or ruining women’s sport). Given the vice-like grip they now have on UK cultural life, it’s only surprising the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations weren’t rejected as a diary clash. … read full article
Desperate, Horrified Mother in Alexandria (Virginia) Needs Help
From Advocates Protecting Children (USA)
June 7, 2022
Advocates Protecting Children frequently receives emails from parents asking for help when their kids suddenly announce a transgender identity out of the blue. These emails throb with terror, incredulity, and desperation. This morning we received one that is particularly painful to read. The mother speaks English as a second language, and her nine-year-old son is on the autism spectrum. He came home from school newly baptized in transgender ideology. Below is the text of her plea:
Hello , im terrified and I’m thankful that I found you ! I need your help on how to contact the Virginia governor and the school board .. my autistic 9 year old son came back from school on Friday and show me what the teacher read to them .. it was about pronouns and gender identity and how if you are feeling comfortable with your gender inside you can be called with the opposite! … read full article
Birth of a Baby, Death of a Mother: A ‘Second Hand Victim’ of Surrogacy Speaks Out
From REDUXX (USA)
By Kallie Fell
June 7, 2022
Like most women who agree to become surrogates, Jaida’s mother was described as “giving” and “loving.”
Jaida recalls that her mother was sympathetic to those struggling with infertility, always empathizing with family friends who couldn’t have children of their own. Having had easy pregnancies with her two biological children, she wanted to give a child to someone else. She’d thought that becoming a surrogate mother would allow her to help another family have a child, while also giving her the money she needed to become a stay-at-home mom to her two small children. … read full article
