No, your six-year-old is not ‘transphobic’
Of course young children are confused by transgenderism.
From Spiked (UK)
By Jo Bartosch
Feb 15, 2022
When a boy turned up to school one day wearing a dress, Sally and Nigel Rowe’s six-year-old son was confused. He and fellow pupils were told that their classmate’s change of clothes meant that ‘he’ was now a ‘she’. The Rowes, a Christian couple from the Isle of Wight, raised the matter with the school’s headteacher and were informed that their son’s ‘inability to believe a transgender person is actually a “real” female or male’ would be deemed ‘transphobic’.
The Church of England school was following guidance that was recognised at the time as best practice by the Department for Education. Seven years later and following a protracted dispute, the Rowes are now taking the Department for Education to judicial review.
In the years since the couple first questioned the policy of their son’s school, transgenderism has filled the column inches of every newspaper. There are two bitterly opposed camps in the debate, which can be crudely termed ‘biology believers’ and ‘ideology adherents’. … read full article

Terrorist Trans Inmate Filed False Rape Claims Against Female Inmates
From REDUXX (USA)
By Anna Slatz
February 15, 2022
A trans-identified male currently housed in a federal women's prison admitted to filing false rape accusations against female inmates.
Cristina Nichole Iglesias, also known as Cristian Noel Iglesias and Kenneth R. West, is currently serving a 240 month sentence for threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction against officials at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London in 2002.
In July of 2002, while incarcerated in the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida, Iglesias mailed a letter addressed to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, the British counterpart of the United States Department of State.
The letter contained death threats and a powdery substance claimed to be Anthrax. The receipt of the letter in London caused significant disruption at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, which was subsequently evacuated. After forensic tests, Iglesias was connected to the crime, and was charged with one count of threatened use of a weapon of mass destruction, to which he pled guilty. … read full article (and support REDUXX!)
As Ivy League Champs Near, Conference and Penn Have Betrayed Women During Lia Thomas Controversy
From Swimming World (USA)
By John Lohn, Editor-in-Chief
Feb 14, 2022
Must give credit to the Ivy League. It didn’t hide its position. From the early days of the Lia Thomas debate, the conference made it clear that it would wholly support one swimmer over hundreds of athletes. It made it clear that Thomas was a priority. It made it clear that its female athletes – specifically its swimmers – were inconsequential.
The University of Pennsylvania has operated in similar fashion. It has favored one individual over the team. It has simultaneously ignored and tried to silence its students. It has sent a message that women’s sports are unimportant.
The Ivy League Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships begin Wednesday at Harvard University and Penn’s Thomas – according to the psych sheets – will see action in a quartet of individual events. She is the overwhelming top seed in three events (200 freestyle, 500 free, 1650 free) and the No. 2 seed in the 100 freestyle. She is also expected to see duty as a member of Penn’s relay teams. … read full article
Confluence: Powerful industries and woke activists
From Writing Behavior (USA)
By Eliza Mondegreen
Feb 15, 2022
Medical transition—no matter how it turns out for individuals—is a win-win as far as powerful industries are concerned, opening up new markets for pharmaceutical products, cosmetic surgeries, fertility treatments, surrogacy, and more. Meanwhile, woke activism seals off lines of criticism as stigmatizing, ableist, and cisheteronormative.
Either your identity hinges on lifelong use of artificial hormones and a cascade of surgeries in pursuit of an impossible goal or you detransition and if you’ve gone far enough you’ll still need a lifetime of hormone replacement therapy. (Tell me this doesn’t sound like Purdue Pharma’s opioid playbook... hook patients on addictive drugs and then sell more drugs to manage opiate addiction.) … read full article (and subscribe to Writing Behavior!)
Trans 'ideology' being 'pushed' in schools 'up and down the country', parents tell LBC
From LBC (UK)

Feb 15, 2022
The parents of a six-year-old child who was told he may be deemed transphobic for questioning the gender of a schoolmate tell LBC the 'ideology' is being pushed 'up and down the country'
Sally and Nigel Rowe were told their six-year-old son may be deemed "transphobic" if he were to question another pupil wearing a dress.
They have been given permission for a judicial review over the Department for Education’s refusal to intervene in their case and its promotion of the transgender guidelines in primary schools.
"What would it mean in reality for a school...to affirm the gender that the child wishes to be known by?" Tom Swarbrick wondered.
"It's not the truth" Mr Rowe declared, arguing that their case "is part of the culture war – that there's no gender anymore, but it's simply not true."
"The issue we've got to remember is, we're talking about little boys and girls." … read full article

Conservative children’s book publisher Heroes of Liberty launched a campaign Monday to warn parents about potential indoctrination of their children that could be going on without their knowledge, and in their own homes.

Warwick mom demands answers after English class gender discussion
From ABC6 NEWS (USA)
By Darren Botelho
Feb 15, 2022
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The mother of a Toll Gate High School freshman was demanding answers from school officials after, she said, her daughter’s teacher turned an English lesson into a discussion about gender identity early last week.
“She had sent me a message, a text message, that she was in English class and that the teacher had just told the class that, ‘oh, you’re aware that there are more than two genders now,’” Keri D’Ambrosio, the students’ mother, said.
In that text message exchange, D’Ambrosio’s 14-year-old daughter tells her mother that her teacher told the class they “have to be politically correct,” while talking about The 57 Bus: A True Story of Two Teenagers and the Crime That Changed Their Lives.
The book references the true story of an agender teen set on fire. … read full article
New Zealand bans conversion practices in vote hailed as ‘win for humanity’
Law makes it an offence to perform so-called ‘therapy’ on anyone under 18 and comes with sentence of up to three years’ imprisonment
From The Guardian (UK)
By Eva Corlett
Feb 15, 2022
New Zealand has banned conversion practices, with near unanimity, after all but eight National party members voted in favour of the law.
Conversion “therapy” refers to the practice, often by religious groups, of trying to “cure” people of their sexuality, gender expression or LGBTQI identity.
The legislation, which was passed on Tuesday evening, makes it an offence to perform conversion practices on anyone aged under 18, or with impaired decision-making capacity, with a sentence of up to three years’ imprisonment. It also makes it an offence to perform conversion practices that cause “serious harm”, irrespective of age. That carries a sentence of up to five years’ imprisonment. … read full article
