US - Feminist Gathering Sunday in Philadelphia Shouted Down by Aggressive Trans Activists
August 7, 2022
At today’s free speech for women event hosted by leftist liberal feminists speaking up for women’s rights, we were shouted down and silenced and shamed by aggressive trans activists.
Footage of the event and the aggressive protestors shouting down women is at the link below. It was chilling to have men silencing and shaming women for speaking up to protect vulnerable women but it was even more chilling to have other women doing the same. I’m shaken by the celebrated misogyny of the left. It’s a dark time to be a woman in America.
US - Every Senate Democrat votes against defining pregnancy as unique to biological females
From Washington Examiner (USA)
By Virginia Aabram
August 07, 2022
All 50 Senate Democrats and the independents who caucus with them voted Sunday against an amendment to the Inflation Reduction Act that would federally define pregnancy as a condition unique to biological females.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) introduced the measure to the sweeping budget reconciliation bill in a marathon voting session in which Republicans introduced dozens of provisions that don't have the votes to be enacted but force Democrats to take a stance on contentious issues. … read full article
US - North Carolina's black GOP Lt. Governor says Democrats want to 'control' African-American people and that they seek to 'destroy' those who defy woke ideology
North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson said Democrats are trying to 'control' black people and seek to destroy those who do not agree with their ideology
He mentioned in an interview with FOX News' Dan Bongino that controversial comments he gave at a white church went viral
In the May 22 speech at the Freedom House Church, Robinson said Christians are 'called to be led by men'
He has also previously come under fire for remarks he made in which he compared teachers who talk to kids about sexuality to predators
Robinson is now said to be eyeing a run for North Carolina governor in 2024

North Carolina's first black lieutenant governor said Democrats are trying to 'control' African-American people and seek to destroy those who do not agree with their woke ideology.
In an interview with FOX News' Dan Bongino on Saturday, Republican lawmaker Mark Robinson said Democrats' 'ideology of control' towards black people 'has not changed' over the course of American history.
'If you look back through the history of America, Democrats have notoriously despised black people who just don't go along,' and 'push back against stereotypes and all ideologies that are dangerous to them,' Robinson said. ... read full article
US - CNN redefines 'groomer' as anti-LGBTQ slur
"The term 'groomer' is a homophobic stereotype used to falsely smear queer people and their supporters as child sex abusers," says John.
From The Post Millennial (USA)

August 7, 2022
Tara John, a London-based reporter for CNN, wrote an article on Thursday covering the protests of a Drag Queen Story Hour in England, inaccurately portraying protestors of the event as "far right extremists" who are "importing US hate," and redefining the word "groomer" to be an anti-LGBTQ slur.
The article, titled "Drag queen storytime in England promotes compassion and inclusion. British far-right extremists are importing US hate against them," spoke of a recent Drag Queen Story Hour UK event which was met with protestors, some of which unfurled a banner in front of the event's library location that read "welcome groomers." … read full article
US - What’s a Woman, What’s a Man, What’s an Alien to Do?
Part One: Thinking about hard questions
From Everything Is Biology… (USA)

I enjoy discussing hard questions and difficult topics… especially with people who disagree with me. I always end up smarter afterwards. However, it’s impossible to have reasonable discussions once a question is politicized. So, I always try to frame them in non-inflammatory scenarios. That’s because I’m actually interested in the discussion, not in winning the argument.
In fact, I’m more interested in other people’s opinions than I am in mine. I already know mine.
So, when I wrote about Happy the elephant, I wasn’t really interested in elephants, per se (although I like ‘em). I was interested in this question: “Can we ever know what’s going on in another person’s mind?” … read full article
US - Pornography, Then and Now
Even at women’s expense, men’s sexual expression has been protected as what presumably secures women’s rights.
From The Distance (USA)
By Donovan Cleckley
August 7, 2022
Born in 1996, I entered a world long saturated in pornographic images, where Hustler and Playboy propagated. Here I am not merely referring to just sexuality in any media, broadly understood, but rather sexuality coupled with heightened violence. And, further, the pattern in most pornography, that which drives the almost entirely male consumer base, has appeared to be male violence against women. “Sexy” defined by women’s degradation has defined prostitution and pornography as what Robert Jensen refers to as “the sexual-exploitation industries.” Present conditions of consumption differ from reading, say, either birth control material from Margaret Sanger in 1917 or D.H. Lawrence’s censored 1928 novel Lady Chatterley’s Lover.
Recently, I had talked with the staff at The Distance about pornography and speech. In particular, we noted the position of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), as expressed by its former president Nadine Strossen in her 1995 book Defending Pornography: Free Speech, Sex, and the Fight for Women’s Rights. … read full article
US - The Tyranny of a Minority
How Gender Ideology is inverting democracy
From Twitter - a thread
By Lee Patterson
August 7, 2022
In his essay written as the tenth of The Federalist Papers, James Madison discussed the danger of factions. He argued “that the only problem comes from majority factions because the principle of popular sovereignty should prevent minority factions from gaining power." (Federalist No. 10 - Wikipedia)
He didn't anticipate the inversion of democracy that we've seen with the power grab by an ideology that claims the injustices suffered by minorities warrants granting them power they would otherwise not have, to "level the playing field."
The woke ideology wields moral claims like a club, in order to achieve their political goals. Wokists appeal to the majority's impulses to be fair, good, kind, and decent. Those with the greatest sense of civic virtue are most easily persuaded. This results in the demands of the minority, whose efforts are enormously amplified by social media, convincing the majority of voters that they should defer to this confused factional minority, resulting in a paradoxical inversion that Madison could not have foreseen.
This catastrophic undermining of fundamental democratic principles is playing out across the world today. The vast majority of people know that sex is real, but we are being subjugated to the lunatic delusions of a tyrannical minority, who insist that all of society must bow down to their absurdist gender myth.

Young children need protecting from gender extremism.
From Spiked (UK)
By Joanna Williams
August 7, 2022
The closure of the Tavistock gender clinic for children and young people, announced last week by the NHS, cannot be celebrated enough. Campaigners, former patients, ex-employees and parents alike have long expressed concern with the clinic’s practice of affirming the chosen gender identities of troubled children and its apparent enthusiasm for prescribing experimental puberty-blocking drugs. The end of the Tavistock marks a huge victory for common sense. But the fight to protect children from the grip of gender ideology is far from over.
While the Tavistock’s pernicious influence clearly extended far beyond its own building, it was not solely responsible for creating and perpetuating the myth of the transgender child. Indeed, on a practical level, the clinic could only treat children who were referred to its services. It did not generally ‘recruit’ young patients directly.

The British left’s silence on state censorship is shameful – and revealing.
From Spiked (UK)
By Tom Slater
August 6, 2022
The British left – or what passes for it today – briefly pretended to care about free speech this week. Which was kind of cute. It was all sparked by Tory leadership no-hoper Rishi Sunak’s bonkers suggestion that people who ‘vilify’ Britain should be put on the Prevent anti-radicalisation programme, alongside all the Islamists and fascists. ‘Who are the real snowflakes?’, thundered one left-wing commentator. ‘Fascism creeps ever closer’, warned Richard Murphy, a one-time adviser to Jeremy Corbyn, as he wondered out loud if he might soon end up in ‘some camp of Sunak’s choosing for “re-education”’. … read full article

The FiLiA Conference, held in a different city every year for almost a decade, will take place in Cardiff, Wales from 22 to 24 October.
It is the largest annual grassroots feminist conference in Europe, pulled together by over 80 volunteers who donate their time and energy to make magic happen. FiLiA means “daughter”, because we are the daughters of the women who came before us, and we fight so that our daughters may be free. … read full article

Welcome to Lesbian Mum Story Hour! It’s such a pleasure to have you all here for today’s tale, thank you for coming! Are you all sitting comfortably? Have you got enough coffee? The children safely occupied elsewhere? Fantastic, let’s begin.
On Saturday, August 6th, I made the slightly mad decision to go alone and unaffiliated to Leeds Central Library to see for myself, firsthand, what on earth has happened to the protest culture surrounding Drag Queen Story Hour. At one point in the not too distant past, feminist groups all over the country were mobilising to protest DQSH on the grounds of child safeguarding issues, and the widely held, common-sense understanding that perhaps a man dressed as a roll of fruit pastilles with his knob quite clearly cling-filmed to his stomach might not be the kind of man you want hanging out with a bunch of children. The single-minded determination this dude and his accomplices have shown trying to make exactly this situation a reality has compounded this view. ... read full article

Thank you for your hugely revealing question set about our shadowy operation. For many years Germany was one of the most unpleasant places in the western world for transgender people.
As recently as 2007 married people had to divorce their spouses before they could formally change their gender. Between 1981 and 2011 about 10,000 people were compelled to submit to gender reassignment operations that rendered them sterile.
