I shall not cease from re-education
A lesson in compassion, intelligence and humility

To be woke is a blessing. We are the first human beings who have ever existed who are right about absolutely everything. It’s such a relief to know that our views will never be criticised or ridiculed by future generations.
In fact, there are all sorts of benefits to being on the right side of history. For one thing, we can encourage big tech censorship without any fear that it might one day be used against us.
But it’s so exhausting having to constantly re-educate the masses. So far this week I’ve got a woman fired for claiming that sex is binary, shouted abuse at an old man collecting money for that imperialist “charity” the Royal British Legion and burned some books by Enid Blyton due to their outdated stereotypes. Important work never ends.
As a baby, my first words were: “Seize the means of production”
People often say to me: “Titania, how do you have the stamina to be constantly standing up for justice in the face of incredible odds?” I honestly don’t know the answer. I was fortunate enough to be born with innate talents and I suppose my most endearing features are my compassion, my eloquence, my formidable intelligence and, above all, my humility. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to The Critic!)
Trans-Identified Male Charged With Child Sexual Abuse
From REDUXX (USA)
By Genevieve Gluck
March 19, 2022
A man who identifies as transgender is facing child sexual abuse charges for attempting to arrange to rape a child and for possession of child sexual abuse materials.
Jude 'Babs' Longmire, 41, of Billings, Montana, began speaking with an unnamed individual via social media who he believed was a child sex trafficker, according to prosecutors. He connected with the individual via social media, and was under the impression they were advertising a child for sex in another county. Longmire then tried to schedule a meeting with a 12-year-old. During the conversation with the alleged trafficker, he also sent a video showing a man raping a child, court documents state.
Longmire allegedly boasted that he had more child sex abuse material, and told the person who posted the ad that his collection ranged from “really young to mid teens, boys and girls.” … read full article (and SUPPORT REDUXX!)
America worships gender over God, but it's not too late to fix it
And so we have arrived at a moment in which we routinely tell children that their bodies are lies and their fantasies are true.
From The Post Millennial (USA)
By Libby Emmons
March 19, 2022
We've eradicated the soul and replaced it with gender. We've destroyed individuality and replaced it with identity. Teachers have been replaced with activists. Education is now indoctrination. And our kids are left with gaping holes in their knowledge, academics, self-awareness, and cultural understanding.
Having been thoroughly infiltrated by ideas that compassion means facilitating delusions, the educational system in the United States has turned itself inside out to now believe that the job of educators is to make sure children as young as 5-years-old know about divergent sexual practices and lifestyles, adult sexual fetishes, and how to choose their own pronouns. Children are being told that the very basics of reality are optional.
Why do kindergarteners need to know about gender identity? In most cases, children who are age 5 and 6 don't know what sex is. At best, they've had cursory mentions of it from parents who want to make sure kids have at least some information before they hear it from others, or have answered their kids' questions after being asked where babies come from. But they don't know specifics; they don't know about romantic love and sexual relationships; they know only about the mechanics, and even that is a bit vague. … read full article
'I'm a woman, that's not a woman': Activist gets into poolside row with woke spectator after Lia Thomas was crowned 500 yard NCAA champion
Lia Thomas, 22, came fifth in the 200 yard freestyle on Friday night at the NCAA competition - a day after becoming the first transgender NCAA champion
The swimming finale has been overshadowed by a row about whether Thomas, who swam in the men's team until 2019, should race against women
On Friday night an activist against 'woke' policies towards trans people, Kellie-Jay Keen, became involved in a discussion with another spectator
Keen went viral after she was asked whether she was qualified as a biologist to discuss Thomas, and replied: 'I'm not a vet, but I know what a dog is'
Thomas on Thursday night became the first transgender athlete to be crowned a NCAA champion after she won the 500 yard freestyle, and races again Saturday

A British campaigner who lobbies against 'woke' policies on transgender people has gone viral after a row in the stands during Lia Thomas's swimming competition, where she told a woke spectator 'that is not a woman'.
Kellie-Jay Keen, founder of an activist group called Standing for Women, has been protesting for several days outside the Atlanta venue where the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) championships is being held.
Thomas, 22, on Thursday night became the first transgender athlete to be crowned a NCAA champion.
Keen, watching on Friday in the stands, can be heard telling a male spectator: 'Is he the same as the other girls in the pool?'
The man replies: 'Every body is different.'
Keen says: 'No. Are you saying he doesn't have male organs? I'm a woman - that is not a woman. Do you have ovaries?'
'I'm a woman, and that is not a woman.'
The man counters: 'Let me ask you, are you a biologist?'
Keen replies: 'Oh my God - don't be ridiculous. I'm not a vet, but I know what a dog is.
'You rely on stupid arguments, because you don't have an argument.' … read full article
Parents told they can swap toddlers’ sex in Scottish census
From The Times (UK)
By Mary Wright and John Boothman
March 19, 2022
Scottish parents completing census forms are being advised they can assign the sex of their children, including toddlers, according to “what describes them better”.
After losing a legal fight to require adults completing the survey tomorrow to disclose their biological sex rather than their self-defined gender, campaigners have reacted angrily to the news that the sex recorded for young dependents does not have to match official records such as their birth certificate.
Critics claim that the approach seriously harms the quality of data collected and may make it more difficult to plan services, including healthcare.
The feminist campaign group Fair Play for Women (FPFW) called the latest advice to parents an example of where the Scottish government’s obsession with self-identification takes us.
In an online helpline conversation with a Scotland’s Census 2022 agent, one parent asked for advice because they were raising their toddler to be “gender neutral and don’t want to assign a sex to them because they are not showing a strong identification with being a boy or a girl at the moment”. … read full article (web archive)
5,500 children are now on NHS waiting list for gender swap treatment after post-lockdown surge in demand
Thousands of children are on waiting list for treatment at controversial Tavistock and Portman Trust's Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) in London
Senior figures at NHS trust are concerned 'the list had grown substantially during lockdown'; admitted it was a huge 'preoccupation' for Board of Trustees
In Jan 2021, Care Quality Commission reported after inspecting GIDS that the list was 4,600

The number of children lining up for gender-change treatment on the NHS has soared by more than a fifth since the Covid lockdowns, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
According to new meeting minutes uncovered by this newspaper, there are about 5,500 children on the waiting list for treatment at the controversial Tavistock and Portman Trust's Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) in London.
Senior figures at the NHS trust have expressed fears 'the list had grown substantially during the lockdown' and admitted it was a huge 'preoccupation' for the Board of Trustees.
Last night, Stephanie Davies-Arai founder of campaign group Transgender Trend said of the possible impact of lockdowns: 'Life stopped really, so adolescents at that stage in their lives, where they're really searching for their identity, turn online.
'They're bombarded with messages about being trans and that all of their problems and insecurities and anxieties are because they're trans.' … read full article
Women won’t wheesht
Scottish women will not be shutting up about sex-based rights
From The Critic (UK)

Edinburgh Castle is bigger than it looks on a tin of shortbread. It imposes, drawing attention away from a dry drinking fountain planted with green, white and purple flowers beneath a little plaque.
The Witches Well memorial honours women who were accused, tortured and executed in Edinburgh for crimes such as having sex with the Devil, being old, left handed, having a birth mark, or all of the above.
On International Women’s Day a group of women and candles defied the weather to remember 4000 women persecuted as witches by ancient Scotland, and to consider the tradition’s revival with “terf” as the new witch.
Beneath a castle lit in Suffragist purple concerns were shared. Worry about lost funding for a refuge. Sadness about feeling politically homeless. Fury for girls enduring daily sexually aggressive behaviour in school. Some kept their masks on, hoods up and mouths shut because women in Scotland have been sacked, arrested, kicked out of uni, threatened, assaulted, and harassed for having opinions about sex and gender. … read full article (and SUBSCRIBE to The Critic!)
Louisiana Bill Would Silence All Discussion Of Gender And Sex In Schools
From Forbes (USA)
By Pete Green
March 19, 2022
Following in the footsteps of Florida and Tennessee, Louisiana is looking at a bill to clamp down on any in-school discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation. But rather than “Don’t Say Gay,” Rep. Dodie Horton’s bill is better characterized as “Don’t Say Anything.”
HB 837 is brief and to the point. The proposed bill’s body says:
A. No teacher, school employee, or other presenter shall cover the topics of sexual orientation or gender identity in any classroom discussion or instruction in kindergarten through grade eight.
B. No teacher, school employee, or other presenter shall discuss his own sexual orientation or gender identity with students in kindergarten through grade twelve.
Horton told station 4WWL that her constituents support the measure. “They just don’t want to take a chance of their children being influenced in a manner that is not conducive to their lifestyle or to their personal beliefs.” She also noted that it was the Florida measure that inspired her, and that after prayer and a discussion with her pastor, she created the bill. … read full article
'Cult-Retreat-Like Experience': California School District Trained Staff to Use Preferred Pronouns, Names
From Townhall (USA)
By Landon Mion
March 19, 2022
The Los Angeles Unified School District required its staff to participate in "socioemotional learning" training that involved educators agreeing to use students' preferred names and pronouns.
According to nonprofit parents group Parents Defending Education, a district staff member said the training consisted of "critical social justice gender ideology." The staff member also said staff were led by a "restorative justice teacher" and that they were given handouts to "address" instances in which students or staff make an "unacceptable error in words or actions that are against gender ideology."
The staff member called this training a "cult-retreat-like experience."
During the training, staff members were called to "raise our hands if we could commit to using preferred pronouns and STAND UP if we commit to using trans students' preferred names."
If staff failed to stand up, the staff member explained, "it was an obvious sign that you're problematic and bigoted and in the wrong." … read full article
EXCLUSIVE [to Daily Mail]: 'I knew the hormones wouldn't work. Why did they play with her life?' Bereaved mom blames LA County for her teenage daughter's suicide, claiming school pushed her to transition to a male instead of properly treating her depression
Andrew Martinez, born Yaeli Galdamez, died by suicide at the age of 19 by stepping in front of a train in Los Angeles on September 4, 2019
Grieving mom Abigail Martinez, 53, has accused her child's LA county school of being responsible for Yaeli's suicide and failing to properly treat her depression
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Martinez claimed school staff secretly persuaded the girl that the only way to be happy was to transition
She said Yaeli was a sophomore - about 15 or 16 - when she began trying to figure out her sexuality, something Martinez believed was normal at that age
But, Martinez claims, the school began 'telling her to go to these LGBT groups behind my back. She went from questioning her sexuality to her gender'
The mom said Yaeli's peers pushed the idea that she was depressed because she felt she was actually 'a boy' – which the school allegedly supported
Martinez claimed an older trans student also 'coached' Yaeli on what to tell social workers to put her into foster care, so the state would pay for her gender surgery

A California mother says the government wrongfully took away her daughter, pushed the girl into transitioning to male, and is to blame for his suicide age 19.
Andrew Martinez, born Yaeli, stepped in front of a train on September 4, 2019.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, bereaved mother Abigail Martinez accused her Los Angeles County school of encouraging Yaeli to take hormones and undergo gender reassignment surgery as a child, while failing to properly treat her severe depression.
Martinez, 53, a mother of four, claimed school staff told Yaeli not to speak to her mother about transgender issues, but secretly had her join an LGBTQ group that persuaded the girl that the only way to be happy was to transition.
The El Salvador-born mother said an older trans student 'coached' Yaeli on what to tell social workers to put her into foster care, so that the state would pay for her gender reassignment. … read full article
Lia Thomas and the slow death of women’s sports
From The Spectator (UK)
By Julie Bindel
March 19, 2022
This week, Lia Thomas became the first transgender athlete to be crowned National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion, winning the 500-yard freestyle in Georgia, US. The crowd was muted, and no wonder. Thomas spent around 20 years as a man and started competing against women in swimming only last year before becoming a national champion.
Feminism is about ending the oppression of women (by men) and not about claiming there are no differences between the sexes. One thing is clear: there are some things that we cannot compete with men in and one of those competitive sports.
Scientific papers have clearly shown that that those who have undergone male puberty retain significant advantages in power and strength, even after taking medication to suppress their testosterone levels.
Why will girls bother to reach the peak of their game if some bloke can come along and take it from them?
As the sports scientist professor Ross Tucker wrote in 2019: ‘At any level, across any range, the top 100 (way more, actually, add a zero) in open competition between all humans would be won, without any exception, by those who benefit from testosterone’s effects on muscle, skeleton, heart, blood and fat.’ The science could not be clearer.
Imagine a girl who has trained all of her life as a swimmer. Through backbreaking hard work and obsessive dedication, she reaches the top of her game and is ranked number one in the world. Then a male competitor transitions to female, competes against her, and takes the first prize. I actually don’t care whether these individual transwomen genuinely believe they are women or if they are being opportunistic. It is still grossly unfair. … read full article
This day in Herstory: Minna Canth, born March 19, 1844 (died May 12, 1897), was a Finnish writer and social activist. Canth began to write while managing her family draper's shop and living as a widow raising seven children. Her work addresses issues of women's rights, particularly in the context of a prevailing culture she considered antithetical to permitting expression and realization of women's aspirations. The Worker's Wife and The Pastor's Family are her best known plays, but the play Anna Liisa is the most adapted to the films and operas. In her time, she became a controversial figure, due to the asynchrony between her ideas and those of her time, and in part due to her strong advocacy for her point of view. (more)
