US - Trans Activist Accused of Sexual Assault Offering Hormones to Youth
From Reduxx (USA)
By Shay Woulahan
August 6, 2022
A California-based trans activist offering cross-sex hormones to youth through the internet has a long history of sexual assault allegations, with accusations from multiple victims, including those who were minors at the time, who reported he abused them.
Eli Erlick, 27, is under fire after posting his plan to ship cross-sex hormones to young people through the internet without any medical oversight or prescription.
“If you need hormones, I work with a network of distributors to give you access. Everything is free, no questions asked,” Erlick wrote on May 23 in an Instagram post. “We have hundreds of doses of Testosterone, Estradiol and Spironolactone available right now. All are prescribed by doctors and unused.” ... read full article
US - Daniel's story: Why the battle for children and against radical gender ideology is just beginning
From Washington Examiner (USA)
By Kaylee McGhee White
August 6, 2022
It sometimes seems like we’ve reached a turning point in the cultural battle against gender ideology. For example, public opinion is strongly against “inclusive” policies allowing men to compete in women's sports, which has forced a number of major sports organizations, such as FINA and World Athletics, to reconsider their nonbiological standards. Stories such as one released last week about a male inmate who impregnated two female inmates after being placed in a women’s prison further hit the point home:
Gender ideology is asinine, and everyone knows it.
But outside of the public debate, the reality is much more harrowing. Gender ideology is still being taught as fact in almost every single one of our institutions, from the public education system to healthcare to the White House. The result is a system that is stacked against those of us with a grip on reality. ... read full article
US - Weaponizing Title IX to Punish Speech
The Biden administration’s proposed regulations will only embolden the speech police.
From National Review (USA)
By Madeleine Kearns & Jennifer C. Braceras
August 6, 2022
The Supreme Court has held that serious sexual harassment sometimes constitutes discrimination. But federal anti-discrimination law has never been a federal code of civility. It doesn’t ban any and all “offensive” speech, even when that speech is sexually charged or related to sex or sex roles. (Essentially, an employer or school is liable for sexual harassment only where it has created or tacitly condoned an environment that denies opportunities on the basis of sex.)
Despite this, activists have for decades weaponized Title IX, the law that prohibits sex discrimination in education, in order to police and silence politically incorrect speech.
Take, for example, the case of Laura Kipnis, a feminist film professor at Northwestern University. Kipnis was subjected to a lengthy, Kafkaesque harassment investigation because two students complained about an article that she wrote critiquing the climate of “sexual paranoia” on campus. Kipnis’s case was not a one-off. ... read full article

US - Association of Medical Colleges Prioritizes Radical-Left Dogma over Patient Care
The American medical profession has lurched so far to the left that it prioritizes racial equity, ending capitalism, and restructuring society above caring for patients.

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has issamendued a 36-page memorandum titled Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Competencies to guide medical schools in revising their curricula and related activities to emphasize DEI and so-called “anti-racism.” AAMC “competencies” also are used by accrediting agencies to establish mandatory standards for all medical schools and residency programs.
In an article announcing the DEI Competencies, the president of the AAMC and the chair of its Council of Deans declare that DEI “deserves just as much attention from learners and educators at every stage of their careers as the latest scientific breakthroughs.” ... read full article

US - Nebraska Board of Education hiring consultant to review standards-writing process
From Lincoln Journal Star (USA)
By JOE DEJKA Omaha World-Herald
August 6, 2022
Members of the Nebraska Board of Education on Friday voted to hire a consultant to examine the state’s process for writing academic content standards — a process that last year yielded health education standards that sharply divided Nebraskans.
Over the years, the state’s standards-writing process had regularly churned out standards for mandatory core subjects such as math and English with little controversy.
But when the board floated optional health education standards last year that included sex education, they ignited such overwhelming public opposition that the board pulled the plug on them. ... read full article

August 6, 2022
Revised plans for new Long Beach high school locker rooms that focus on gender neutrality have failed to quell the ire of some in the aquatics community — including Wilson High swimming coaches — who say the co-ed facilities don’t take into account their various concerns, including student safety.
The proposed locker room designs are part of an overall project to create new aquatics complexes at five LBUSD high schools, beginning with Wilson. The project was supposed to begin this summer. ... read full article

Canada - Barbara Kay: Tavistock closure highlights harms caused by radical gender theorists
When will Canada catch on?
From National Post (Canada)
By Barbara Kay
August 06, 2022
England’s Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS), known as the Tavistock, is set to close next spring. Thenceforth, decentralized into regional units, staff will “embed the care of children and young people with gender-related distress within a broader child and adolescent health context.” This is a stunning blow to radical gender theorists.
An independent review under the direction of Dr. Hilary Cass, former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, condemned the GIDS model — typified by immediate affirmation and swift passage to puberty-blocking drugs — as one that puts young people “at considerable risk” of poor mental health, and is therefore “not a safe or viable long-term option.” … read full article
UK - ‘I will not put my girls in that organisation’: How a trans crisis engulfed Girlguiding
Recent developments have left some parents fearing the needs of boys who feel they are female are being put above those of their daughters
From The Telegraph (UK)
By Peter Stanford
6 August 2022
In its current summer newsletter, Girlguiding – the organisation formerly known as the Girl Guides – shares the real-life story of a recent recruit welcomed warmly into Rainbows, the organisation’s youngest tier for four-to-seven-year-old girls. The child in question – a lover of dolls and scarves and dresses, we are told, who wants to be called “Rainbow” – is biologically male, though his mother says in the article that his “true gender” is female.
The circulation of “Rainbow’s story” to the 290,000 girls between four and 18 who are members of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers has caused a storm of protest among parents. “I found it horrific reading,” says Catherine, a former nursery teacher and mother of three from north London, whose eight-year-old daughter is currently a Brownie. ... read full article
UK - Close down Sandyford gender clinic to children, says former patient
From The Times (UK)
James Beal
August 6, 2022
A woman who had testosterone injections and a mastectomy at the Scottish equivalent of the Tavistock clinic before “detransitioning” back has said that its children’s service should be closed.
Sinead Watson, now 31, was treated after self-referring to the Sandyford clinic in Glasgow when she was 24.
She later realised that transitioning had not helped her depression, anxiety and self-harm. She wants Sandyford’s young people’s gender service, for those under 18, to close, following the fate of the gender identity development service at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in London, which will shut next year. ... read full article

Re: Long Beach High "There’s no common changing area either (in the girls’ locker room),” she added. “It takes 15-20 minutes and sometimes two or three people to get a swim tech suit on. The logistics don’t make sense.”
- yes, it does make sense. thats exactly the point. this forces high school girls to be undressed in same area as biological boys. this is the main goal of the entire design. if they choose not to they will be late for their next class.
