US - As a doctor and dad, I am ashamed by how horribly my field mistreats kids with 'gender-affirming' therapies
‘Gender-affirming’ therapies are rejected elsewhere, but US medical field insists on harming our children.
From Fox News (USA)
By Dr. LeRoy Essig
August 29, 2022
Twenty-five years ago, when I was a young medical student on one of my first hospital rotations, the soft-spoken senior physician leading our team asked us one day on rounds, "what is all medication?" Met with blank stares, he then answered for us: "Poison. All medication is poison." He didn’t mean that the drugs we were giving our patients were killing them, but that we had a responsibility to be cautious when using them, as they also have the potential to harm.
It’s a lesson many of my physician colleagues are ignoring in their opposition to burgeoning legislation in several states that would prohibit "gender-affirming" therapies for children with gender dysphoria, including Ohio HB 454, currently the subject of contentious debate in my home state. Those therapies include hormones to stop puberty and change external sexual characteristics, and surgeries to alter anatomy to that of the opposite sex. As a doctor and a father, I have watched the role many in my profession have played in this debate with increasing concern and dismay. Physician involvement in this kind of therapy for children is horribly irresponsible and worthy of contempt. … read full article

US - New Policy for Treating Trans Youth Sparks Debate Among Pediatricians
Some AAP members are asking the agency for rigorous systematic review over gender-affirming care guidelines.
From Legal Reader (USA)
By Sara E. Teller
August 29, 2022
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has been accused by some of its own members of blocking discussions about a resolution asking for rigorous systematic review over gender-affirming care guidelines. At issue is 2018 guidance which states children can undergo hormonal therapy after they are deemed appropriate candidates following an evaluation in mental health; however, there’s no mention if this includes those who identify as trans or aren’t satisfied with their assigned sex at birth.
The five members of the AAP, which has a membership across North America with around 67,000 pediatricians writing for its journal, have called for an update to the guidelines in order to better protect patients. They acknowledge that there may be risks involved but also point out these can always be managed by careful follow up care from doctors, and coordination of care within the medical field is key.

US - Yes, trans surgeries are being done on minors. Here's proof.
From The Christian Post (USA)

August 29, 2022
Speak to anyone who has endured an abusive relationship and they'll tell you that one of the worst forms of psychological manipulation that narcissistic abusers employ is gaslighting, wherein the abuser makes the abused party think they’re crazy. The corporate media has mastered this tactic with so-called “gender-affirming care,” refining it to a T.
Legacy press outlets have insisted, in lockstep with a seemingly predetermined narrative, that “gender-affirming surgeries” are most assuredly not being performed on minors or they are minimizing them if they are. They tell their audiences that those scrutinizing policies and practices at children’s hospitals nationwide are delusional right-wing lunatics threatening the hospital staff. … read full article

US - Some doctors stopping treatment for transgender youth in Florida
In Tampa Bay, a child’s surgery was canceled. In Miami, a hospital stopped accepting new patients seeking care for gender dysphoria. It comes as Florida calls for a ban on such procedures.
From Tampa Bay Times (USA)
By Christopher O’Donnell
August 29, 2022
TAMPA — While Florida considers banning hormone therapy and surgeries for transgender youth, the current political debate about treatment for gender dysphoria is already having a chilling effect on those seeking care.
A surgery scheduled for a St. Petersburg transgender boy at Tampa General Hospital was canceled in June after both the hospital and the unaffiliated surgeon expressed concerns about performing the procedure over fears of future sanctions, according to the boy’s mother. More patients are traveling out of state to get treatment, according to some surgeons. It’s also become tougher for plastic surgeons to find hospitals willing to allow them to use operating rooms, said Sidhbh Gallagher, a Miami plastic surgeon who specializes in surgery for people transitioning gender. … read full article

A federal court on Friday struck down Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services’ attempt to force doctors to perform mutilative transgender surgeries against their religious beliefs and conscience objections.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in the lawsuit Franciscan Alliance v. Becerra that “a Catholic healthcare network and a group of nearly 19,000 healthcare professionals cannot be required to carry out these procedures in violation of their deeply held beliefs and professional medical judgment,” according to the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a nonprofit law firm that seeks to protect religious freedom.

August 29, 2022
Dr. Christy Olezeski, promoting Yale Universities’ gender clinic on Twitter last week, smiles into the camera and speaks with wide eyes and a lilt in her voice about the medical attack on children’s healthy sex organs for expression. She’s suffering a profound case of cult indoctrination, promoted by elites driving an insane ideology of disassociation from sexed reality into society.
Dr. Olezeski, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University and the director and co-founder of their “gender program,” a nice euphemism for clinics that medically attack the healthy sex of children and young adults. Yale’s gender program consumer base, she says, is 3 - 25 years old. Her cavalier manner in discussing this barbarism is only surpassed by the absence of the word dysphoria. She speaks of “gender-expansive individuals,” those who identify as “transgender” or “non-binary,” and those on a “gender journey.” … read full article

One year after the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Biden administration continues to ignore the plight of Afghan women under the tight grip of the Taliban.
From an administration that presents itself as a champion of women’s rights, we have heard nothing but silence. This past March, the White House cast women’s rights at home and abroad as a cornerstone of the administration’s policy. Despite this pledge made on International Women’s Day, the Biden administration is quietly leaving thousands of Afghan women in dire circumstances. As the administration offers Afghan women empty words, they are busy emptying even the word “woman” of its meaning on the domestic front. … read full article

The first time I ever hear the word gender I was 26 years old and had just enrolled in a master’s degree to study Women’s Health and Psychology. That was 14 years ago. During that two-year period, discussion that directly involved gender and identity was peripheral, occupying only a very small fraction of the whole course, and no radical claims or new truths were presented by any of my teachers. In fact, the subjects we learned were grounded in common sense, statistics, and many hours of conversation between students and teachers. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to study and learn this topic almost completely untainted by ideology, yet I’m certain the same won’t be true for my children. … read full article

As kids head back to school all across the country, debates rage on as to how teachers and schools can best support gender non-conforming kids. These arguments often pit teachers against parents in a fight that sees students as the most common casualty. As the parent of a gender-distressed kid, I have felt betrayed by school officials in the past; at the same time, I have great respect and empathy for teachers and guidance counselors. I do not think deepening the divide between families and educators is the way to solve this problem, rather, here is my three step plan for creating a more supportive environment for ALL students. … read full article

It’s no secret that the entertainment industry is completely in the tank for the transgender movement, but a recent episode of the Netflix documentary series “Untold” titled, “The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist” takes it to the extreme.
The episode purports to tell the story of how Notre Dame football star Manti Te’o was victimized by a Ronaiah Tuiasosopo. Tuiasosopo is a “catfish,” someone who creates a fake online persona to lure victims into personal relationships. Around 2007 or 2008 Tuiasosopo created a fake Facebook account posing as a young woman named Lennay Kekua. Tuiasosopo roped a number of men into online relationships before befriending Te’o in 2009. … read full article

It was back in 2018 that Man Friday organised the first women’s protest at the ponds on Hampstead Heath. On that occassion a group of women chose to swim in the men’s pond in an attempt to draw attention to the absurdity of self-ID and the City of London’s new ‘trans inclusion’ policy concerning the use of the ponds. The men didn’t like it much- which rather proved our point about single sex spaces being desirable for both sexes- and pictures and videos of Amy in her neon-green mankini and other women sporting beards and swim trunks kept the press interested for a few days. You can read the piece I wrote about that sunny day, ‘Yes, but today is Monday’, here.
