Michigan middle school HIDES trans status of student from her parents as counsellor warns teachers to only use child's 'birth name' and pronoun 'he' during parent teacher conferences
Richards Middle has come under fire for telling instructors to hide from parents the fact their son is transgender, since the kid came to the realization in school
That declaration came in the form of an email sent to instructors ahead of the school's parent teacher conferences this month
In the email, instructors were told not to tell the student's parents about the change in the student's gender, which saw the youth ask to be tabbed as a girl
It comes as public schools in the state are now allowing kids whom identify as trans to use their preferred names and pronouns without parents' knowledge

A Michigan middle school has come under fire for telling teachers to hide from parents that their son identifies as transgender.
A counselor at Richards Middle in Fraser, near Detroit, sent an email to educators ahead of the school's parent teacher conferences this month.
They were told not to tell the student's parents about the change in the child's gender identification, which saw the youth ask to be referred to as a female. … read full article
"Science Vs" Cited Seven Studies To Argue There’s No Controversy About Giving Puberty Blockers And Hormones To Trans Youth. Let’s Read Them.
The show is strikingly selective in its skepticism

Science Vs, a leading science journalism podcast produced by Gimlet, is dedicated to cutting through misinformation and politicization and delivering its listeners the truth. The show “takes on fads, trends, and the opinionated mob to find out what’s fact, what’s not, and what’s somewhere in between.”
In March, it published an episode called “Trans Kids: The Misinformation Battle” that seriously misled listeners about the quality of the evidence for youth gender medicine — that is, puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. Worse, the show engaged in some rather irresponsible fearmongering on the subject. … read full article
The nonbinary cult keeps expanding
From Washington Examiner (USA)
By DEBRA SOH
June 10, 2022
A new Pew Research Center study shows that almost 2% of U.S. adults self-report that they are "transgender or nonbinary." Among those aged 18 to 29, this number jumps to roughly 5%, with 2% identifying as a transgender woman or transgender man and 3% identifying as "nonbinary."
Moreover, 20% of Americans say they personally know someone who is nonbinary. This is more common, as you can imagine, among younger adults with higher levels of education who live in urban areas and are Democrats. … read full article

What is a woman? What are they for? Do they have souls? Men may never know, as that might involve asking a woman her opinion
From The Critic (UK)
By Victoria Smith
June 10, 2022
At first I wasn’t particularly inclined to watch Matt Walsh’s documentary What is a Woman? I know the answer to that one already. Everybody does.
A woman is someone who isn’t allowed a final say on what a woman is. Pretending not to know this — that defining “woman” is incredibly complex and bewildering — is an age-old tactic deployed by non-women, usually in order to excuse treating us badly.
Are women fully human? Do they have souls? What do women want? Far greater men than the host of The Matt Walsh Show — Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Sigmund Freud — have tried and failed to answer these questions (they could always have asked an actual woman, but first they’d have had to establish whether women can think, and then they’d have been back to square one). … read full article

Fox News viewers, prominent Christians, and conservative pundits publicly bombarded the network Friday, after it aired a glowing news segment promoting a 14-year-old girl named Ryland, whose parents began pushing her to dress like a boy when she was an infant.
“We highlight the story of Ryland Whittington, whose journey of transitioning at age five has been seen by 7 million people in a family YouTube video,” “America’s Newsroom” host Dana Perino began, introducing the segment. “[Correspondent] Bryan Llenas has a story about that family that hopes their experience can help others.” … read full article

How I became a “bigot”
From Home Thoughts from a Broad (UK)

I’ve been a part of a minority group, or several minority groups, since I was born. My people lived in a small townland in Donegal that was mostly Protestant. We were the minority in the area and that had absolutely no effect on me as I had no idea that our friends and neighbours were in anyway different to my own family.
When we moved to Dublin, I realised that my own family was quite different to those of most of my school friends. Apart from being a ‘culchie’ and a ‘blow in’, I had no dad. My mother left her husband, my father, shortly after I was born. It was something that I was reminded of often by the other children – and something that was practically unheard of in Ireland at the time. … read full article

We have been worthy of respect for a whole year!
From Sex Matters (UK)
June 10, 2022
A year ago today Maya Forstater won a critical judgment in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, establishing that gender-critical beliefs are “worthy of respect in a democratic society”.
The judgment had many implications:
Employers should not refuse to employ someone because they have expressed gender-critical views online.
Organisations should recognise that people with gender-critical beliefs are protected against harassment. Encouraging staff to call gender-critical people “TERFs”, transphobes or bigots, or denigrating their belief, could result in liability for harassment. … read full article

I couldn’t be more delighted to announce a very good thing. In case you haven’t already caught wind of the news via this viral tweet, the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists has dismissed the investigation they recently opened against me.
Say what? Okay, let me back up a second.
Long story short, back in December 2021, a bunch of online trans rights activists (TRA’s) found a few of my blog posts and tweets, and rapidly piled on me with threats to report me to the board for alleged “conversion therapy” (not a thing I do) simply because I speak up for victims of gender medicine. I wrote the board this letter, and all I heard back was that it had been forwarded to the compliance department… then, crickets. … read full article
So Why Pride Matters
From LGB Alliance (USA)
By Arianne
June 10, 2022
For some of you, the question “Why does Pride matter?” might seem like an obvious one. It’s a time to celebrate surviving and thriving in an overwhelmingly heterosexual society. It’s a time to reflect upon the very real gains same-sex attracted people have made in securing marriage rights, reducing discrimination, and winning over the hearts and minds of a previously unrelentingly homophobic populace. Or maybe it’s just a good opportunity to put on your rainbows and have, well, a good time.
But for some of you, the question “Why does Pride matter?” might be a difficult one to answer. Perhaps you see Pride as a commercialized, corporatized zombie of the movement it once represented. Or maybe you disapprove of the ideological direction it has taken. Maybe you feel like your own sense of belonging as a lesbian, gay, or bisexual person is drowning in the endlessly growing “LGBTQIA2s+” alphabet soup of identity. … read full article
Layers of Sadness

June 10, 2022
In 2021, my 19 year old son walked from his college campus to Planned Parenthood and was prescribed wrong sex hormones on his first visit, no therapy required. There was no differential diagnosis. Some days, it’s an effort to walk my dog and cook dinner, let alone write an essay about the nuances of what my family is enduring. But I can write about sadness in bullet form, which is apropos, since my family has been fired upon by insidious gender ideology like a spray of bullets, hitting us randomly from all directions. ... read full article
